Our coated DC-cutters are designed for drilling welding spots. The DC Cutters are designed for normal and higher tensile steels, ideal for external skin panels. For this purpose we are using our spot drilling machine FASTDRILL.

High endurance & a neat bore.
To drill welding spots we highly recommend our coated DC-Cutters. These cutters are suitable from normal up to higher tensile steels. By using the drills in conjunction with FASTDRILL the endurance is extended considerably. This spot weld drilling machine starts drilling as soon as the drill contacts the metal sheet. For high-tensile steels we recommend to use the tungsten carbide drill DURADRILL.

DURADRILLs have been designed to drill out spot welds on high strength and ultra high strength steels. The special PVD coating gives it an extreme hard tip and a high temperature resistance. It helps to reduce friction between the metal sheet and the drill in order to extend the endurance. DURADRILL is approved by one of the biggest automotive manufacturer.
